ISH CE3: See you at the Farmers’ Market!
Spring is finally here! Days are longer, flowers are blooming and the Farmers’ Markets are back in town.
We are excited for two reasons: fresh produce is available around the corner and the ISH Farmers’ Market Tour is back!
During the winter months, we had a great time joining the Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market Program where we taught eco-crafts indoors at the Mount Pleasant Branch of the DC Public Library. Participants had a great time making paper flowers and painting ladybug rocks.
This spring, we are excited to host cooking demos, eco-craft lessons and nutrition education programs at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings.
We can’t wait to see you there!
What do you love most about the farmers’ market?
