Thanks Capital Cause- ISH D3 is right around the corner!
As students are finishing final exams and anxiously awaiting the first days of summer- we are eagerly anticipating the launch of our summer 2013 Dance, Dig and Dine program!
The program will meet twice a week for 6 weeks at the Latin American Youth Center where high school interns will help teach 25 3rd– 5th grade students to cook, garden and stay active.
This program is made possible by Capital Cause, a group of young philanthropists who believe small contributions pooled together can affect change.
Capital Cause has been working hard since April to fund the ISH D3 summer program. Capital Cause drafted and sent out action emails, created donor letters, and hosted a fundraising happy hour.
View our pitch to Capital Cause here and see a wonderful Capital Cause presentation on the program, the need, and their campaign for the ISH.
The ISH would like to publicly thank Capital Cause– it has been a pleasure working with you and we look forward to working with you again in the future.
Our goal is to provide students with the resources they need to live a healthy, active lifestyle. Thanks to Capital Cause, our Summer 2013 Dance, Dig and Dine program will do just that.
